Looking to find what Armor units Operated the Cougar 6X6 AVGP's during the NATO "SFOR" mission in the late 90's

They were attached to the RCR and PPCLI in the 97's in Bosnia SFOR...

The Cougars were operated by the Regular Force Armoured Regiments. A Squadron configured for Recce missions was deployed on each tour in the Battle Group.

Lord Strathcona's Horse (Royal Canadians) were in ROTO 1 during 1997 and replaced by the Royal Canadian Dragoons for their tour during ROTO 2 in 1997/1998.

The 12e Regiment Blinde du Canada also deployed a Squadron on the rotations but they might have been on the Coyote as it was introduced into Bosnia with SFOR around 2000/2001 replacing the Cougar.

One thing to bear in mind is the Cougar was still undergoing modifications during the first ROTO and could still be seen with the original tires, no Bison mirrors, and no spare tire rack on the front hull. These details were added during ROTO 1 and ROTO 2. However, the turret had already been updated and the LAST armour package was already mounted.
