Depends, what are you looking for, is it shading, dry brushing, or a base color?

I'd start with a yellow ochre color and tweak it with on off white color (titanium white).

By adding greens or browns you can make several different shades.

70 percent white, 30 percent yellow ochre and just a touch of Prussian blue

I am using a basecoat of acrylics and oils for shading and highlights.

If I were you I would go to the local art store and get a color recipe book. It will save you tons of time trying to get close to any color you want.

From there, you can fine tune.

I use artist acrylics, and find that book a lot better than continually wasting lots of paint or asking how much of what to make color-X all of the time.
