Hi folks,
On my first kit with Schurzen. Not really sure if there is a 'best' method, but I'm guessing I should treat the schurzen as a separate kit until I glue them on.

This will mean trying to keep the glue points clean until that last step.

Anyone have a great method?

Thanks

Gaz

Agree on treating them as separate kits.
You could cover the glue points with maskol or tape.

Hi Gaz, I paint them at the same time of the whole kit. Also add the supports too and paint them. When I apply the weathering just mount the schurzen to filter and wash/dust them on place.
But just work to me.
TIA

Cover the areas where you want to cement with a bit elmers white glue, let dry, paint, then remove the bits of glue and you have a clean spot.

Paint the reverse and any bits which will be concealed by them first, then add them and paint the rest in situ.

Guys,
Thank you for your helpful replies. Schurtzen has always been one of those things I wanted to mmaster but feared failing.
