M4 mid production, I think ALCO production. I think the Dragon M4 Normandy kit would be the most appropriate. The Asuka M4 is a different manufacture type.

We could debate the visible features at length, which would conclude that it could be either an ALCO or PSC production before mid-'43. However, the key visible ID feature is the 2 drain holes in the turret ring splash rail, visible between the tarp and crowbar. PSC has theirs higher up, whereas these are at the bottom. So definitely an ALCO. As noted above, the Dragon "Normandy" M4 is adequately representative of what can be seen in the photo.
