Greetings all. I'm back into scale modeling after many, many years.

I have three modest armor builds since the first of the year and I am now preparing to build the Trumpeter M1129 Stryker Mortar Carrier Vehicle. The kit is to be shipped to me today.

I would like to add 120 mm mortar rounds to the vehicle's ammo racks, but after many hours of internet searching I have not been able to find a vendor for this item.

Does anyone know of a source? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I was in the exact same boat as you, wanted to fill the racks with ammo tubes and whatever else goes in there but couldn't find a single pic. Gave up and packed it up.

I guess scratchbuilding the (PA153 ? ) fiber containers should be doable :

....providing you have the dimensions

A few stored containers can be seen here :

Gents,
The MR Models M1064 conversion has resin cast fiber tubes as well as white 120mm metal rounds included in the set. If you would like, I certainly can measure the tubes from the conversion that I was working on, before AMS set in. Now that I think about it, I might have an extra M1064 conversion set or two in the stash.

Judging from my 120mm ammo container, the tubes should be 140 mm in diameter (5.5 in.) and between 29.5 in. in lenght.

The PA167 120mm Mortar Fiber Container outer dimensions are 5.43 inch diameter x 30.46 inch length. I guess the PA153 ones should be the same...
