I'm currently building a diorama depicting the Pershing tank from E
Company, 32nd Armored Regiment, 3rd Division, that took out
the Panther by the Cathedral. I have seen the videos and read the
descriptions. Are there any still pics?? I'm using Tamyia's
kit 35254 which was a nice quick build. Looking to get the stows
and equipment as accurate as possible as the real tank. Any suggestions on decals and accessories that would work??? I want
to replace the .50 cal. as well. I choose not to use most of the aftermarket PE parts till this point. Thanks

There is a very good article compiled by Dierk.
I translated his article into Japanese few month ago, and was very interesting read with good amount of information.

Hope you find what you are looking for.

Outstanding work on the article regarding the "Last Tank Battle"!

Wartime portrait of Jim Bates, one of the 165th Signal Photo Company photographers there that day who recorded the event:

Israel - Thank you. I had never seen the stabilized film footage before. That was new to me!

Tasca makes about the best .50 cal in plastic. Add an Eduard PE set for the ammo box (opened) and the gun cradle, and you have a really excellent .50.

Thanks for the info on the .50. I replayed the videos many times
to read the markings on the M26. I got the rear markings but
still need to figure out the front and sides. I'll keep working
on it.

You're welcome Tony

I guess the color drawing comes from this book :

The Pershing #30119836 can be seen several times in this video (1:14, 8:08, 15:39....) :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=928&v=GUDT9flAOpA

but the "name" on the hull side doesn't seem to be "Spicy" (looks like a number to me )...
