and?

we hope and pray that it isn't Black Label
Should be fairly safe since they have both chassis already (maybe a few detail changes). As long as the bridge and missile systems are not made by Black Label ....

Wikipedia says:
"The Hawk missile is transported and launched from the M192 towed triple-missile launcher. A self-propelled Hawk launcher, the SP-Hawk, was fielded in 1969, which simply mounted the launcher on a tracked M727 (modified M548), however the project was dropped and all activity terminated in August 1971."

Sort of makes sense. They already have the lower hull and running gear from the Lance Missile carrier. I might hold out hope that AFV Club will do one. The AVLB will be very welcome just keeping my fingers crossed that they do a good job with it.

I don't understand Why AFV Club hasn't done one yet. AFV Club and Hobby Fan are one in the same. AFV has done the M60 series and Hobby Fan has the resin AVLB. So how hard could it be for them to make a plastic kit.

57th All Japan Model & Hobby Show 2017
I 'think' the original poster is refering to:

Dragon Models FB Page

referring to: 57th All Japan Model & Hobby Show 2017 HLJ's Preview here on everything else, for those that don't do FB...

The M48 AVLB & M727 Hawk SP Missile Launcher are only referenced by CAD Posters so far.....

The Platz A41 Centurion interests me as well.....

The Already Announced Tracked Rapier is a Lump-O-Resin jobby, will pass on that though

Buy three and do all the positions...

I wonder when the kit comes out, how many here get the "pricetag-shock".

Wasn`t tracked HAWK used by the IDF?

M60 ALVB bring back some memories, When I was 10 years old, I was with my parents at a Bundeswehr show, also participating were soldiers of 2nd ACR, with an M60 AVLB. They had layed the bridge on the ground, a Leoprad 1 or Bergepanzer crossing the bridge, one track one the ground and one track on the bridge. Was so fascinated that I didn`t realized that the driver lowered the bridging mechanism and I was standing right underneat it. Fortunatly, the driver noticed me and stopped.

And, do the M60AVLB, with the standard hull, and the repurposed M60A2 hull...

I really really really hate to be the downer because I really really really like these subject matters but...

...am I the only one looking and saying "What will they screw up with THESE kits?"? Seriously, I want these kits but I am NOT looking forward to fixing whatever screw ups evolve.

Is it too much to hope for a good solid kit from DML nowadays?

I'm soooo wanting the AVLB kit. I just started one of the old 1/40 Revell kits from 1967. I picked it up at my club's semi-annual kit auction for $10. There's so much flash on it. I like building the unique stuff though.

I built the Revell AVLB, which equates to an M48-A0 'slick' e.g., early or even prototype(?)

The Bridge also represents an early version without the mid-span extensions.

I did consider combining the Tamiya M48 with the Revell Bridge, but the scales were too 'off' for my OCD, so just built it OOB... except for replacing the rams with aluminium rod & making it posable.... as here in the Engineering build
