I'm not sure if someone has already posted this, but there is video on YouTube of TUSK 2 Reactive Armor installation on what appears to be a M1A2 SEP v2. Link is below for anyone interested.

THis will come in handy for Academy's new Boxing of their M1A2 SEP kit. Thanks

Hi,

Are you referring to Academy's kit#13298 M1a2 sep v2?

Or is there a new version out? I believe some time ago I saw a special edition of this kit with def model tracks in a catalogue though I am not sure it is out already.

Thanks!

This video has been linked here before. It is of a training event where the soldiers are being shown how to install them while on an Atlantic Resolve rotation to Europe.

As to the M1A2 SEP v2 wearing them, no, other than training events like the video, none have been added to M1A2 SEP v2s. The TUSK ERA is only used during wartime and has not been used operationally since Iraq. The M1A2 SEP v2 is a post-Iraq version of the Abrams.

It's out next month apparently: New edition with DEF tracks, new sprue, PE parts and different decals.

Thanks for the replies, guys. Much appreciated. Looks like they also fixed the issue with the distance between wheels. At least that's what google translate of this review shows.

The new kit also includes a new TUSK turret armor configuration - exactly like in that video. Note that it is different from the earlier configuration, as included in the previous Academy - and all other - kits.
