This kit is very good and well detailed with two peculiarities:
A) the joints are very tigth and precise so in order to snug the piece inside an hole is often required to use some glue to melt/lubricate a bit the hole
B) AFV provide in the kit all the hydraulic cables in vinyl I think it is better to discart these pieces since vinyl is very difficult to eliminate cast lines and prone to corrupt over time In addition AFV cables are longer than needed.
So it would be better to replace them with lead wire.

I painted the model with Tamyia acrylics and weathered with sepia china ink and MIG pigment.
Chipping was execute with sponge technique using alumine and brown acrylics.

The base was covered by real desert sand mixed with PVA glue .
I added a piece of BPM russian armor making it very rusty using sand mixed with paint.

Looks fabulous!

I have this one too. I hope I can do half as well as you did.
