So I have the Academy M3 Grant and Lee kits (with the corrected bogey trucks). Given that Takom has yet to come out with a N. Africa appropriate Lee, and just in general, are the Takom kits "better" than the Academy kits? Enough better to consign the Academy kits to the "also-ran" pile?

Just wanted to see what you tread-heads think, as you sure know a lot more about this stuff than I do!

Just to complicate things, apparently Takom has announced a North Africa-compatible variant.

Apparently, the Takom models _are_ better than the Academy kits, even though those aren't bad at all. There's that extra level of finesse, apparently.

Now, the Academy kits come with interiors, which the Takom kits do not, to that's something to consider as well.
