I don't know why but on most forums there isn't a lot of military truck building. Country or period not important. But when I get to the point of buying, I like to see reviews and there's not a lot about. Any reason? Considering it's trucks the lights use to bring everything forward in the supply chain. I look forward to some constructive answers.
Thanks Chris

hey chris,
I am currently finishing off the trumpeter m915 line haul semi trailer. i must say i have looked forward to this kit and to me it does not dissapiont. It also comes with a forty foot container, bonus. i have other plans for the container so my m915 will carry a load of two scatch built oversize wooden crates, a m1025 body shell and a gamma goat all tied down with rope and chains. It was an enjoyable kit to build with not to many problems and its come out nice. The only down fall of this kit is that it does not have an engine or gear box.It will eventually go into a diorama set in a forward supply base in germany for reforger 85. By the way does anyone know where i can purchase a cold war era forklift kit? I also have just recently purchased the meng m911 het and 747 trailer. in box review of kit looks great, with heaps of awesome details and man is it a big kit, should look awesome built up.

Hi chris
I love my haulers and big trucks though ive got a ton of them in procrastination. I do braile scale but the range is stil extensive. Ive got airfix scammel tank transporter, revells faun slt50 tank transporter, balaton models m1070 with m1000 trailer, m1070 gun truck, m1070 post apocalypse truck, milicast diamond t tank sporter, modelcollect hemtt m983a2 with patriot system. And m870a1 semi trailer, maz 7410 with semi trailer and maz 7410. As you can see a bug list all with just tad bits started for moment.

There are some reviews of kits youre better off typing what your looking for inparticular.

What about Verlinden's Clark Yardlift 40 (the 1:1 one appeared in 1946), providing you can find it ?

Hi good to hear, I built the same kit as soon as it came out, unfortunately due to space i have the HEMMT 983 on the trailer, along side that the MAZ 537,also the Faun SLT-56 tractor trailer and on the table now is the ZIL-131V. This latest kit ZIL-131V is a test of will and patience/experience. I have built other trucks but it's the tractor units that want now. I have built some of Barry Wrights 1/76 kits, he had practically everything I had driven whilst I was in the R.C.T.
I'm looking now for a 1/35 fuel tanker trailer. Any ideas anyone?

I built that set up. the tank is solid resin and very heavy and there is a bit of scratch building required
