My favorite scale. I may not be able to afford it but I will look into it.

Tie-down points I think. Towing there would probably pull the roof off.

Well damn. That is almost the kit I've been looking for since 2008. I might still have to get it.

If you could consider 1/35th scale then there is this:

Tamiya 35082

I think it can be found in more places than ebay so take that link only as an example ...

What I do - although sometimes I feel a bit guilty (!) - is utilise the excellent KFS website and scrutinise their vehicles for the extra details that I would otherwise miss on my 1:35 models; the larger scale enables me to check what is/should be present and I then add accordingly if relevant.

The comparison of the Ambulance models for instance may well help the 1:35 builder.

If this vehicle kit is so popular somebody made a resin kit out of it, you'd think that Tamiya would re-release a new version of their British Rover 7.

The resin kit is in 1/24th scale and the Tamiya one is 1/35th.
KFS have done a few other 1/25 scale resin models of military vehicles. It seems that there is a market niche for them.

I wonder if there is a 1/48th scale Rover ambulance ...

Their whole range of 1/24th military stuff:

I would love to see that Scammel Crusader recovery/wrecker
truck as a 1/35 model. That much resin gets a little expensive ...

Oh, that's been in the queue for at least two decades. Before I even had an interest in the Iraqi one. The old "buy now, build never" option.
