Trumpeter's new version of the Hemtt - the THAAD rocket system in 1:35.

The chassis is finished and the suspension added. The resin wheels are coming from Def.Models and will be glued later.

Also the steering will be glued later, still loose.

Never knew they had put this out. Thanks for letting me know. I remember the scratch built one I did 15 or 16 years ago. I may just be getting this one. Your progress shot is starting to look good.

Looking good so far. How do the LHS parts (lifting hook, pistons, etc.) look? From what I can tell from the parts sprues, all the parts are there for a basic M1120 LHS.

looking forward to seeing this built.

some more parts added.... all out of the box, no additional upgrade parts. The details are wonderful here!











... so far for now - next month more. Time for summer vacation until end of June!

as I know the basic version M1120 LHS will follow also from Trumpeter soon?

Soon is a relative term. The M1120 was announced before the THAAD and still hasn't been release. Hopefully we will see it soon.

Hello everybody.

The sub-assemblies are mostely done now. The interior is painted and weathered, the windows will follow next and masked.

Then I will start the painting with black primer, desert beige and a 3-color camo at one door and some wheels ...

paint is on .... Mission Models Desert Tan, some highlights with ligther beige color ... oil colod washing ....

and all put together .... Now some dust on the windows follows and final touches as well as a small base
