Hoping someone can help answering about the LAV shown below. There is something attached to the right side of the hull in sand color. Can anyone ID it? There is also something else in sand color attached to the front and was wondering what that is as well.

Also, does anyone have any clearer photos showing the DUKE antenna base mounts? Something showing where and how they are attached to the hull.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

The box is a control box for the DUKE system. The attachment on front is new to me. It looks sort of like a dozer blade, but I have never seen one on a LAV

Thanks!

I see the Black Dog accessories set includes the ECM antenna and also includes a set of boxes on the right side, are those boxes for the ECM antenna? If I wanted to add the DUKE antennas instead of the ECM as in my original post above, could I use those Black Dog boxes or do I need the specific box from the photo in the original post?

The Black Dog box is bigger than the one in the original picture. IIRC, it's a jamming generator for the "Chameleon" ECM system.

Check out this picture for the DUKE antenna mounts :

Gino,

That front mount may be for a mine roller similar to what's used on the MAXXpro MRAP and Strikers

I guess so. Here's another view :

Full size

Here's a LAV-TUA fitted with a mine roller. The pictured mount is very similar, if not the same...

Thanks for the replies, greatly appreciated!

Does anyone have any closeups of the duke antenna mounts on the front of the LAV-A2?

For the duke control box on the right side of the LAV-A2 hull, I found this 3D printed control box cage on Shapeways for the M-ATV but I think I can modify it and do a little scratch work to make it look close enough.
