I plan to make a USMC M1151 like in the first photo below where it has a duke antenna next to the intake. In the second photo, not sure which branch of the military this one is but it has the flat, rectangular antenna that I mostly see on M-ATV's. Could the USMC M1151 also use that same flat, rectangular antenna instead of the tubular duke antenna?

I believe the flat antenna is the new Duke antenna.

Thanks!

Was just wondering if the USMC ever used that version on their M1151's.

I don't know if it is used by USMC.
