I'm not sure what this is called, if there is a technical name for it, but were they used in ODS and Bosnia?

Hello Dustin,

I reckon that you are thinking of the VS17 panel. These were used in Desert Storm and I am sure that they were available to troops in Bosnia.

I have a couple of them, and they both have tags that say "VS-17/GVX Signal Panel Marker 8345-00-174-6865" as shown HERE:



I got mine during the late '80s and early '90s, so yes they were available during ODS. Unfortunately, I do not know if they were used during Bosnia.

I have pictures on Photobucket, but that doesn't help AT ALL!

With visibility down to 100 feet in ODS, we didn't bother to use them.
