What is the best trees to use for 1/35 scale figures?

I see that railroad trees come in a variety of styles, and some packages can even create a small forest.

However, while the height and width of the canopy may be fine, aren't the trunks too skinny for 1/35 figures? The trunks look no wider than the legs of the figures.

No, I don't care to make my own trees with wire armature or real bark. I'd rather buy.

I'm mainly looking for spruce pine forest trees, but anything realistic enough in 1/35 scale I'm interested. Thanks in advance.

Hi Peter,

There are a number of options

Trees in '0' or 'G' scale could be used (roughly 1/32 - 1/24)... but I've even used 'HO' scale trees (from preiser)

if you don't mind some assembly then for example

J's Work has a number of options in their terrain series or from : http://www.kamizukuri.jp/

HTH,

Sam.

sorry forgot a link for the railway trees :

You did notice that the railroad trees are unavailable for an indefinite period of time?? At least the pics show how they are made.

I realize you are not interested in building your own trees, however have you checked out the products available from http://www.thescenicfactory.com/. I know he offers a lot of kits, but I believe he may have some pre-built versions available as well. Just a thought.
