I see Dragon USA has Whitman's last tiger coming out in January.

I assume (could be wrong) that this is a reissue. Which would be the better kit RFM or Dragons? I am not an interior builder but I am looking for accuracy, fit and finish.

Dragons blurb said it comes with zim and a new figure but failed to mention anything about tracks, gun barrel, and P.E.

Anyone have some valuable insight?

So much then for the old Cyber-Hobby trumpeting at the time of this being a "Limited Edition" release some years back now. A change of box art, throw in a figure and renumber the kit and it is simply an exercise of 'old wine in new bottles' for DML.

I bet the kit collectors rather than the builders are happy....!

Maybe but I was interested in which kit has a more accurate exterior.

So which is a more accurate kit on the exterior, Dragon or Rye?
I have not built a Rye kit before and do not remember seeing a side by side build/comparison of the two.

I don't know what's in the Dragon kit.

The RFM kit is their most accurate Tiger. No real issues.

Thanks David.
My thoughts on what is inside the kit would be based on the level of goodies they have put in previous reissues. If a metal barrel, magic tracks and a good set of pe are included it would probably be an OK deal at $75 because of the cost savings with the molded on Zimm. The Rye needs Zimm and I don't know about the track, barrel, and PE that might come with the kit. OK I could sell the Rye interior to try and recoup some costs but based on the exterior the monetary costs could be similar.

Make sure the Late actually has the interior- some of their Tigers do and some don't.

Rye's Late Tiger has no interior. It looks like they might do an interior for it one day, but they haven't done it yet.

As of today, only Model Factory Hiro have issued a true Late Tiger with an interior.

Rye Field's Mid Tiger could have its interior converted to Late without much trouble. In fact most of the trouble is that they failed to make it a true "final Mid" interior. The Late was very similar.
