What's the color of the ISU lens? The Tamiya assembly guide says clear blue. The pics appear clear red. Unfortunately, I just painted it red.

Thanks!

Actually, the two sides are different. The one closest to the TOW is a darker blue/purple/red coating. The one closest to the TC is a yellow/gold coating.

Gino is correct. The lens closest to the launcher is for the day sight. It is actually clear but is coated with the same material that is on the periscopes. The lens closest to the TC is for the night sight/infrared, therefore it is a darker lens.

They started receiving them in Aug '17. They just got the final shipment for a total of 32. Over the summer of '17, the Lebanese govt signed a Security Cooperation agreement that included 32 M2A2 ODS Bradleys; 40 M198 howitzers; 50 armored Humvees; an armed Cessna aircraft (A-29 Super Tucano); 55 mortar systems; 50 Mark-19 automatic grenade launchers; 1,100 machine guns, including 800 50-caliber machine guns; 4,000 M4 rifles; over half a million rounds of ammunition; 320 night vision devices and thermal sights; and 360 secure communication radios.

Sounds about right, with maybe a little gold mixed in.

Apparently it is an operational pattern.

From an Aug '17 article: "Lebanese soldiers in northern Lebanon this month. Troops have been fighting Islamic State militants in the mountainous region on the country’s border with Syria."
