This is not armor related, but I figured I'd try here anyways.

This project would probably need to be mostly scratch built.

Here is a picture of what I'm after.

Please PM me if you think this is something you would like to do. I can answer any questions that you may have.

Thanks

I've done models of gas processing plants for display, this would be an interesting one to try!

Nope, it's not visible on my system at all. The first message in this thread I see is ANDY's saying it's a lot of work.

But if it's anything at all like that fracking rig and in any scale at all other than, maybe 1/72 or smaller, then, yeah, a crap load of money and time and it absolutely would have to come with great drawings and a ton of photos or just don't bother.

If it was in 1/35 I'd want 8 to 15 grand to attempt it and with all the reference material supplied. The dollar amount depending on how soon it was wanted.

Larger scales it would be a bit more, but not a lot.

Did you perhaps click on "Hide User" accidentally. The OP is there.

How very odd. Still not on my system and I can't imagine that I've hid posts from Dustin. Don't think I've hid posts from anyone, accidentally or not. Don't even know how.

How very, very odd.

But, yeah, if that's what is needing to be scratchbuilt, it would cost a small fortune unless someone does it for less as a massive favour. It's a ton of work to do even reasonably well.

Paul, you may have accidentally clicked on "hide user". I've done the same in the past accidentally and couldn't see posts from a user. Figured out that I had clicked hide user while I was scrolling.

Bizarre. Today I can see the first post. And I did nothing in between.

In any case, my scratchbuilding cost comments stand. that's an expensive mofo to scratch build unless an awful lot of it can be cobbled together from other available kits.
