Fantastic, MiniArt are really upping the styrene game. Nice to see subjects like this and not ANOTHER Panther.

This is really nice. I am a Romanian and the offering on Romanian subject is very scarce. Now we need some figures to go with this one.

Is this TD based on a captured Russian vehicle. The running gear and tracks look Russian. Looks very nice. Mini Art are really stepping up their game. Nice to see that we are finally getting to see the more obscure Hungarian and Romanian vehicles.

A captured Soviet 76mm gun on a captured Soviet T-60 light tank. Very interesting, and unusual.

Built on captured Soviet T-60 tanks. I believe about 30 or so were built.

I could very well be tempted by this, but a crew could be a problem. I could modify some other nations uniform, but I'm crap at sculpting so the helmets would probably be beyond me. I COULD always make them bare-headed in summer I suppose.

Looks like a fun beast though the real one would have been a lady for recoil on something as small as the T-60 chassis. A gun crew next please!

I agree with Sebastian that more Romanian, Hungarian etc subjects would be welcomed. That said, this TACAM was based on the Miniart T-60 kits, I doubt that Miniart would do many one-off kits and deliver us a Romanian R-1 tankette, or any Hungarian vehicles (for instance some Toldi's who DO NOT need tons of aftermarket sets).
But one can hope ..

A crew for this TACAM would be nice, but for the time being, we can perhaps convert some figures and add Hornet's set HWH03 (Dutch/Romanian helmets).

That is indeed one seriously-ugly tankette. Whose was it? Will whoever lost their weird tankette please come reclaim it? I see tents in the background...re-enactors, bow hunters or gypsies? Ya, it's one of those evenings...

Frank, you can blame the Czechs for this R-1 tankette. Built by ČKD in the Czech Republic, it was known as the AH-IV and sold to several countries, most notably Romania (36 AH-IVR tankettes), Sweden (48 Strv m/37) and Iran. Ethipia bought a bunch post-war. Armament etc differed between vehicle types, and only the Romanians used their tankettes in action.
Ugly, yes; interesting and unusual, ditto. That is why I would welcome a decent kit in 1/35.

The problem, I do not think it is the machine, but rather the Romanian insignia.
