Not with that kit, you will need the tamiya kit for mk 1&2, the 3 onwards has up armouring and moved rear top hatches from 4 to three.

For mid 70s, you actually need the first version without the improvements that lead to A1. It is represented in the Tamiya kit and shown here:

Howeyer, the builder has backdated it. You should get the old kit somewhere.

As you can see it has a simplyfied engine with openable engine cover. It was i realy nice kit these days, I had some myself.

EDIT: Just have seen that you asked for braille scale. Never have seen it in that scale, However, there was a model of it in scale 1/87 from Roco miniatures which was really nice.

thx, but yeah 72nd. 87th I think would be a bit small for what I want. got airfix's battlefront dio kit I'm gonna put 3 modelcollect T72s with. found some figgies of sov version of MOPP

It's pretty much a question of stripping it down to the suspension and scratch building a new superstructure. The basic turret shape can be used but new sights and search light would have to be scratch built too.

The way the kit goes together it's all set up for the 1A3 with no real way to strip off the add-ons short of using it as a template to make new slab sides.

Try another vehicle.
