I don't recall which forum but someone was asking if Asuka was going to release this version with the high bustle turret.

This is great news. I asked Asuka several years ago to make this version, and never heard a peep back.

Why was it called a 'Cougar'?. Because it chased young German men all around Europe?

Hi, Russ!
That's a good price, too...

I hear that. Back in the '70s, I used to write to MONOGRAM, when they were the undisputed kings of the 1/48 aircraft market. I always got a very polite form-letter back from them, telling me that they would take my requests under their consideration. Sometimes, my requests came to fruition, no doubt coincidentally. At LEAST MONOGRAM had the decency to send a reply-letter, which is a lot more than I can say for today's model companies...

Yep, and I’ll be adding 3 or 4 of these to the ever growing Sherman stash. Now to convince my better half that 40 unbuilt Shermans is totally reasonable

I was thinking amateur! Then I reminded myself I only have about 20 or so! I will get a few myself.

And Asuka is releasing the large hatch A1
What’s next? Is Tamiya going to release an M50 this year too!?
