Quick question,

I noticed that people have positioned the "007" decal on the side of the turret two different patterns

1) following the roof line at an angle
2) straight as typical with other tigers

Which is correct??

Thanks

Jeff

Did a quick search and found the photo of the turret laying upside down and it appears that it is level. Tiger 205 from 1st SS from the same period is level. I would assume level.

Are you talking about this picture

http://www.precision-panzer.moonfruit.com/communities/9/004/006/621/409/images/4580364285.jpg

I saw it and then was looking at this

http://www.precision-panzer.moonfruit.com/communities/9/004/006/621/409/images/4580364292.jpg

which has the numbers following the roof line, which confused me

so it is a straight line typical of most tigers

Thanks

Jeff

And then there is this from Cookie Sewell in his review of Dragon/CyberHobby kit "

The kit comes with a nice sheet of targeted Cartograf decals with two sets of numbers: one for command tank 007 (ascribed to Wittmann) and one for 009. Both are from SS s.Pz.Abt. 101, Normandy 1944. (Note that after a long and protracted argument on the Internet photos show that the staggered numbers as shown in the directions are correct.)
