Hi gang,
I managed to confuse myself and buy two MIM-104F PAC-3 launchers from Trumpeter. One box with just the launcher and one with launcher and tractor.
I now have one launcher too many. Can it be converted/modified easily so that it looks different? Sand coloured launcher and green/brown/black missile canisters is one option but it is not all that interesting. Firing mode vs transport mode is another possibility.
Is there anything else that could be done? I have the PAC-2 from AFV-Club but could it be made into a PAC-1 launcher or the original (pre PAC) version?
/ Robin

The PAC-1 launcher (a.k.a. MIM-104B) is the one replicated by Dragon. Maybe you could compare the kit parts to the Trumpeter and AFV Club ones to see if a conversion is possible...

..Or you could put the launcher on a MAN 8x8 chassis...

Paint it in standard three-tone NATO camo and tell everyone it's an IDF one...

Where are the MAN 8x8 kits available? I am only aware to the Revell Germany kit and haven't seen one in quite a while...
