I feel the same way. I hope it's better than the Academy fitter offering (if you can find one nowadays...).

Sheesh, some of y'all need to get out more and get a life. This is JUST the kind of offering that folks here are clambering for:

1. Not another paper Panzer
2. Not another Panzer PERIOD
3. Not another WW2 offering
4. Did I say not another German armor reissue?

Com'on dudes. This is what we need more of: variety and subjects that haven't been done to death.

The problem isn't with the choice of subject, the problem is with the kit manufacturer. If this announcement came from AFV Club or Takom, everyone would be excited. But it came from a company who in recent years releases only bad kits (inaccurate and poorly detailed) and charges premium prices for them...

Except it isn't new, and it isn't even done as well as a 20+yr old kit AND requires surgery on the lower front hull to convert from a Lance/548 to a vanilla 113.
It's a weak effort before it is even out of the gate and isn't even in the park with the newer AFV offerings.
I'm not going to get into it with you on the 'no more WWII German' 'no more paper panzers' thing.
It may be barely better than the orig Tamiya 113 from 40+yrs ago, but THAT kit did not require front hull surgery.
