I am trying to help a friend in eastern europe get some hi-res walkaround images of a few vehicles in the The U.S. Army Armor & Cavalry Collection at Ft Benning. The vehicles are the M2A3 light tank the M2A1 medium, and the T4 medium tank. Are there any Armorama members near the museum at Benning?

Not yet, I thought I would ask here first, if there is someone close to the museum, and had the time to help me out, this would be simpler.

There isn't a Cav museum-only a storage area for vehicles from the Patton and the other museums.
This might help you-

Currently finishing up bolc here at Ft benning. I’ve seen tanks parked out in a yard that’s fenced off where they’re doing the restoration. You have to go during the week and they may let you walk around and take pictures.

I was able to only see a few vehicles in the distance past the museum on my visit there. They have a couple of smaller armored vehicles inside but not what you need. I can't wait for the new facility to open and these tanks to be on display again.

The museum isn't scheduled to open until sometime around 2025.

The collection is currently not open to the public.

I had a few friends that said if you go over there in uniform around lunch time the curator will let you walk around the tanks.

That’s a pretty nice collection of photographs. Save that link for future viewing.
