Hello all,

for a very long time I want to build a Stryker. Over the time I collected a lot of AM stuff and the AFV Club M1126. But I am not sure, if I need all the stuff I have to build a Stryker stationed and in service in Germany.

I have (additionally to the basic Eduard PE sets and exhaust deflector 35993, 36001, 36003, TP087):

Stryker additional armour (Eduard 36011)
Stryker blast panels (Eduard 36017)
Mine protection kit(Real Model)
Tire fire supression system TFSS(Real Model
Drivers enhancement kit(Real Model)

Is all of the stuff installed on a Stryker in Germany, or can I leave some of the items away?

I don´t have any Resin wheels yet. Which company do you recommend?

Thanks for the help,

Thomas

I guess you could look for reference pics and then see if the 1:1 details match the AM stuff you have. Just search for 2nd Cavalry Regiment Stryker pics :

Hallo Thomas,

building a Stryker from 2nd CR is quite simple. Trucks based here have just the Drivers Enhancement Kit attached. I Also recommend to get Blast Models M151 RWS. It´s the only kit that has the LRF included. Talking about wheels, I use the one from DEF Models. You have to take care NOT to install all the rings on the wheel hubs. The ring acts as a step for the driver and also as protection for the CTIS. Strykers have been continously upgraded over the years.
My photos on Prime Portal may give an ideas of what has been changed.

Viel Spaß

I'm pretty sure you're also going to need an Amber Warning Light (aka Whopee Light) and drip pans.
