The planer and small axe are a handy addition to any tank's collection of repair tools.

another nice set from Miniart. Some minor mods and tbey could be used for a multitude of other uses.

They're in shirtsleeves. Some swipes of the file and knife with a touch of putty and they can be nearly any army, air force or even navy.

For me, a set like this is only German because that's what the box says.

How did scrawny little tankers get infantry to work on their vehicle?

Dunno takes some muscle to change track, pull road wheels and torsion bars and down load main gun ammo.

Known a few infantry types complain it was too much work.

Hand one a tanker's pinch bar and he'd whine and moan all day.

These'll go great with the work shop set reviewed the other day.

Where do you see Infantry..? Most Tankers (American, at least) that I've ever seen are far from scrawny...

Think I might get a set or two of these guys and convert them to US Tankers or Ordnance Men- I've got a DANDY M32B3 which I converted by mating a TASCA/ASUKA M32B1 kit with an early M4A3 56-degree Upper Hull, which is ripe for an " Ordnance Crew at work"-kind of a thing...

I "don't get" the "planer" included in the tool set, unless those German guys were planning on building their own piano...

There's some odd tools included because there are tool sprues added from the Construction set, and the Cement Mixer equipment sets. Except for what's included in the basic Tank Repair Crew set, and what's included with their tank kits, MiniArt doesn't have an exclusive AFV tool/equipment set.
