The answer is yes, all US Army 160th SOAR MH-60Ls are painted black and the 160th SOAR is the only unit that uses MH-60Ls.

The first picture Frenchy posted is not an MH-60L. It is a standard Army UH-60L (pointy rear stabilator) with nose-mounted weather radar and a FLIR, which is painted Helo Drab Green and is very dirty and oily.

The second is a a flat black 160th SOAR MH-60L. It appears a mottled dark gray because the black fades quickly and it has a lot of spots that have been painted with touch-up paint.

Check here for more info on 160th SOAR MH-60Ls as used in Operation Gothic Serpent (Somalia '93) as depicted in the kit decals.

To replicate those two paint jobs from the photo's would be a task. I don't think any two spots are the same color.

Decant commercially available cammo paints from Home Depot or Lowe's. That's what they're using, hence the various shades.
