Finally was able to finish one. Still waiting for my light lenses to arrive in the mail then I'll put it to rest. It's the Dragon kit with the Perfect Scale Modelbau update set and the Eduard PE set (only 60% is usable since it is based on faulty Dragon parts.) I did add weld seams to all the exterior body panels, strap ratchets from Djiti and cargo straps from thick lead foil. Also used that same foil to make the missile transport retaining bands. Up next will be my M688. The basic Dragon kit with the Perfect Scale Modelbau conversion set, I also just ordered their PE ratchet set and another Eduard PE set.

Chris it looks really great. I love this MERDC camo.
Could you please post pics before painting to see how much PSM parts add to the base kit?

Olivier, thanks for the kind words. I will have to look if I even took any in progress pics. I will do so for my M688 build, it will have both the conversion and basic update sets from PSM along with Eduard PE.

It looks awesome. A great example of Cold War artillery.

I just used the PE from the Eduard set and some generic data placards from Archer. The real thing is very basic. I recommend Wings & Wheels Publications G058 "MGM 52 Lance". Lots of great reference pics including the drivers station. Almost all the pics are of NATO allies equipment but any differences to US stuff is very minimal.
