That looks and sounds impressive-particularly the absence of layering marks when building up depth, but not going to be cheap if its only available in 17ml bottles

I'm sure bigger bottles can be had.... I've seen transparent blue resin available for the SLA/UV 3D printers......

Not bad considering this is similar to the resin used in dentist office. Of course, it will be more coming across the continent.

Which means it's cheaper to buy from an art store or ebay, and you can get 200g bottles.

So it's received the "slap a hobby label on it and jack up the price" treatment.

I'm with Iain on this one: the price would be stupendously outrageous for anything involving more than a 1/35 scale puddle! The 1/350 destroyer on base that I completed a while back probably would have cost less than the resin for the simulated ocean base.
