Hello.

I was wondering if anybody could please tell me if the fairly well known Sherman "Fox" of the RMASG pictured in Normandy in June 1944 had a new (straight but tapered) or an old (flared) stlye 75mm gun barrel?

I've tried to judge looking at photos of it (which I'm having difficulty loading on here) but from the angle at which the photos are taken, I just can't tell? It looks like the new style tapered but unflared barrel.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Merci Henri-Pierre!

I can't seem to make out if it had the 'flared' or 'straight' barrrel though?

It looks like a straight barrel but I just can't be sure?
