I've read in reviews that the road wheels of this kit are slightly under-sized, and comparative photos of the real item bear this out. It seems the rubber tire portion might be a little too narrow. I was wondering if glueing thin styrene (1/4 mm) strip around the tires would solve the problem. At any rate, it would reduce the space between the wheels.

Another comment: has anyone built this kit, and how, if at all, have you dealt with trying to fit a crew in action in the compartment?

Wheels: Adding a styrene strip would certainly increase the diameter
but
I wonder if that could possibly make the rubber "tires" too "beefy" compared to the rims?

If the issue with undersize was only in the thickness of the rubber then the solution would be obvious. I don't know if the rims are undersize or not ...
