Try as I can, I can't find a 1/48 M274 Mule anywhere, in any form...plastic molded, printed, lead casting, carved outta wood...

Would look really good with any 1/48 Vietnam helicopter.

Anyone know a 1/48 source I might have over looked?

Much thanks.

Never heard of one, but I'd venture if you could find appropriate wheels and tires (perhaps from the 1/72 realm) you could easily scratchbuild one.

To my knowledge, I don't think there's a 1/48 scale kit, perhaps some obscure company has made one in Resin. But there are some "airfield support" items offered by various companies (Hasegawa, Tamiya, Trumpeter, etc) that might have the appropriate sized wheels. The Academy 1/72 "Dragon Wagon" might come close. But the transmission, drive line and steering box would be a bit of a challenge, and the engine which is distinctive. Dragon's 1/35 scale M274 would be a great place to start for the details as it's very complete. I secretly wish for a 1:1 full sized M274 to haul my garbage cans out to the street when I get older, but my wife says no....

These guys might be worth a try, I've gotten some things from them in 1/48 and they are very nice.
