Pictures I took at the Australian Armor & Artillery Museum outside of Cairnes. Had about six hours spread over a couple of days to run amok through the collection. They have about 160 pieces, and of the vehicles, 59% are drive able! Got to go for a ride in an FV 426(which was fun). SO much cool stuff! I could have easily spent another day there! You weren't allowed to go on, or climb in the vehicles, but they had a lot of hatches that were open and you could stick your camera inside. Anyway, hope you enjoy and/or find some use for some of the detail shots.

Been there couple of years a go with my son ,very nice indeed,the only disappointment was we can’t have a ride on the FV because was to muddy but I have couple of shots down stairs in the shooting range

Their Tiger turret roof is apparently the cupola of an Early Tiger welded into the roof of a Mid Tiger. And it looks like it was already exploded when it was welded, so some wreckage collector did it.

Great pictures, thanks Michael. Bookmarked for the German ones. They look to be in much better condition than most German stuff you see, including IWM & Bovingdon (with exception of the Tiger). The 88 in particular looks almost pistine.

The fox is a missmash of fox hull and Scorpion turret, with a 30mm jammed in,and a made up storage tray to rear of turret as to short.
