Has anyone here tested Trumpeter spare part service? Trumpeter homepage gives you the adress of a joanna@trumpeter. Maybe just contact her and give the kit no. and sprue(es)?

I haven't had any experience in trying to get TRUMPETER parts. I have very few of their kits, anyway...

Try it. What have you got to lose? At worst, Joanna won't answer you; at best, you'll get what you need...

I have not had to use Trumpeter for parts replacement. But I had to use Miniart for a shield for the 120mm Spartan figure. It was included in the box--all was fine. I lost it at our model club meeting (Sonoran Desert Model Builders) Tucson Arizona. I took a chance that maybe they could replace it. It was my fault, not theirs. I emailed their customer support center.
They mailed me a new shield part all the way from the Ukraine.I call that service.

I've used them twice and got very good response. You email Joanna with the kit/part #, she has someone check the warehouse for availability and if they have it they mail it to you at cost. Both cases they had what I was looking for.

I wasn't that lucky last year...

Mailed Joanna the sprue number I needed, but received no answer at all(maybe they didn't have it on stock).

Ended up scratchbuilding what I needed.

I once asked them for the PE steps from their C-47 kit to use on my Monogram kit. (as payment for some images) They sent the whole kit. I like that kind of customer service.

I wish they will finally use the M777 references I gave years ago. Rob, which person were you in contact with at Trumpeter?

I gave up on the Trip 7 and sent mine to another company known for artillery kits. I'll email you my contact, although it's been some years.

My Trumpeter sprues arrived today. No troubles with customs. 3 weeks are a good speed.
