Anyone needs a Continental R975?

I was surprised it didn't make the news here yet: it's been on their FB page for a couple of weeks, along with their pigeon set which I am pretty stoked about!

I got it as a news mail today (as Average Joe News-subscriber, nothing to do with Armorama).
I got it a few minutes before posting this.
It wasn't totally unexpected since Miniart has a habit
of releasing selected bits from other kits if they see a market for it.

Nice offering!
Now that it is here it is somewhat amazing that no has come out with this sooner???
(I know it is/was available in resin at one time.)

It's not that useful. It doesn't come with an engine compartment so you can't show it in a powerplant change scene without fleshing out all the innards from scratch. Are most modelers going to do that even once?

A better option would be just what was visible through the screens on an M3 medium or light. I'm looking for something to fill that space, not a kit that has as many parts as the tank model I'm putting it in.

Why do we have someone else listing the exact same topic?

Perhaps the two threads should be consolidated?

I could lock this one

I was faster off the mark with this thread but the other one is the official News thread.
This happens occasionally when someone other than the News editors publish first.

Very cool. Hopefully they do a Continental W670 as well. I need a pile of those for my LVTs.
