I do hope this is true. New tool Hotchkiss would be nice too.

I'm building R35 from Hobby Boss currently, and I was struggling with the suspension yesterday. And I thought that it is a pity that Tamiya is not doing a r35, because they would definitely design this suspension better/wiser. My second thought was that I will never do another r35 from HB just because of this irritating suspension.
Today, I woke up, and what was the first news on armorama? Tamiya i s going to release r35 Pure magic

For what it's worth I built the HB r35 using a Shapeways 3d- printed suspension. It made the build much easier than it would have been otherwise, or so I think. I attempted the HB suspension and gave it up--the photo etch elements weren't cooperating with me.

I'm shocked that no one has done a PE set for the vehicle-the PE with the kit is terrible. I love this vehicle and 4 different ones I want to build along with the Panzerjager built off it, but never picked up them up because of them being a PIA with the suspension, even with the 3D stuff I have for it.
