Robert (as you know) those larger CCKW conversion wheels are/were available in resin. - They might still be found occasionally on e-Bay. - Just say'n

The rail wheels of road vehicles have nothing in common with the wheels of the rail cars or locomotives, save the both are rolling on tracks.
However, this set will be useful for the scratchbuilders. Probably some day it will come to them to launch also a set of brakes for these?

Or course they don't. You can clearly see in the one photo how the outer wheel bolts onto to the standard truck wheel. Fortunately for some we work in materials that are easily converted to suit our needs.

Mike, I was aware of that, but for some reason lots of folks seem to dislike working with resin. I figured a set in plastic might get their creative juices flowing. I myself have no interest in doing such a project. At least not until I finish about 300 others first.
