I have Miniart's SU-85, T-55. What any else I shall need to make a SU-10with full interiors combineed with the interior from SU-100 and T-55?

Disclaimer, Im an amateur.

The T-55 uses later gun model with smoke extractor, the SU-100 doesn't have it. Therefore, the gun will not match. I don't know ifSU-100 has different gun mount system than the SU-85 considering the D-10S is significantly heavier.

The commander cupola of the SU-100 is the same as the T-34/85, like the SU-85M in fact. SU-85M is the 85mm version of the SU-100 by the way, and I don't remember any SU-85M from Miniart with it.

Most of SU-100 has a ventilator behind the commander cupola, which look like the one on T-34/85 I believe.

Driver hatch on the SU-85 is also different from the SU-100, but I remember somewhere say that it is depending on factory.

So, in my opinion, it is not really possible to make a SU-100 by combining SU-85 and T-55, useless you don't mind a fictional, plausible SU-100ish.

Hi Dinocamo:
If it possible to use Dragon or Zevezda's SU-100 and have the interior of Miniart's SU-85 fighting compartment and T-54's D-10 gun to fulfill the SU-100 with interior?

thanks

Im not a scratch builder, though I would suggest something.

If it is better to use the lower hull of Miniart if possible to maximize the interior part compatibility. Check if the Zvazda upper hull is compatible. Otherwise, you can try to fill the interior of the Miniart in the Zvezda.

Im not sure on how difficult it is for you to mount the D-10 gun and the breech on Zvezda front plate. But Im sure that it is possible. The SU-100 has only 8 rounds in the front ammo rack, therefore you have quite a bit of space to work with.

I built only a few kit and all of them are interior, so my experience is limited.

I hope it help though.
