Last words from me , " don't forget to use the black poster paper for a backdrop , don't want my pig sty room showing . "
Thanks son ........

So good, you’ve really got an artist’s eye for integrating tones & colours so nothing jars. Talking of jars I (now) see you need reading glasses too, I wasn’t wearing mine when I surveyed your workbench & thought that badge in your brushes wineglass was from these guys’ fan-club…

WOW , that's so weird you made that Bon Jovi reference .
Back in the late 80's he had a house built on the Manasquan River and I ran the phone lines to it . Got a cee - note tip for that one .
He's a very cool guy , not a snobby rock star , real down to earth dude . Was very interested in the work I was doing , not in a nosey way but in a really wanted to know how things worked kinda way .

Fantastic work as usual. You and Jerry are very humbling to watch in action. BTW my workbench looks pretty similar, but at least yours hasn't got a Vincent petrol tank invading the space!

It's goin' good dude, not able to check in here as often as I would like!
Really enjoy how you work Cheyenne, don't worry too much 'bout the "pig sty", it's still a workspace. You should see mine
I also end up with a sweet spot amongst the clutter .

Cheers
Dave

Great stuff!!! A nice combination between the stiff, rigid style of the pond, the bomb crater and the deterioration of the lack of maintenance!!!

Thanks Jerry !! castin away ....
Thanks Steve , that's a nice compliment .
Piet , thanks dude .
Dave thanks , how's it goin man ?
Thanks Erwin !!

Turns out the casting was pretty fast and easy , the ground stone and leaves were the bear .

Making the cast iron , wrought iron railing .

The ground stone was the most tedious . I used thin cork , sanded down the edges ,schmeered some sheet rock mud on for texture and sanded down any high spots , base coated with Tamiya buff , wet burnt umber wash followed by an antique white wash and touched up spots here and there .

If I can figure out how to make grape bunches It'll be a grape vine , the leaves are a pretty close match , if not some kind of ivy creeper vine .

Little tiny balls of purple polymer clay? Bakem for a few minutes? Or, look for micro beads at the crafts store. They might be just the right size.

Wowwww shaping up to be a real masterpiece, construction & painting are heading off the scale. Two questions – how did you make that central railing oval, and what’s the overall concept – is the pilot just for scale or is he part of the scene? Re the grapes, there is some kinda fruit that has tiny seeds you could dry but I can’t recall which one...blackberry & raspberry's way too big

hey cheyenne!
super detailing as always!
i am not convinced by the fountain, though.
in fact, here in italy, one can usually drink from them and the hose should be higher on the fountain. what is the purpose of having a hose that low?
maybe you could move them up a little bit...
ciao

Sweet going!!! I know you are still in progress, but you might add some bird droppings and patches of lichen on the pillar or the topstones of the walls?

Thanks Jerry , I took a piece of copy paper , painted both sides green then used a leaf punch I have .

Phil , thanks man and that's a great idea , I have enough oven dry clay to choke Pokey and Gumby thanks for jarring me melon .

Piet thanks , you got it baby , plaster rules !! I was thinking about adding a French street bunker outside the chateau grounds gates , lots of reference photos of those .

Tim , thanks man , that's a tanker pilot fer scale . The ornate center of the railing is a cheap piece of pig metal jewelry from Michaels craft store . There is no concept really , google ornate Victorian wrought iron fences , gates , etc. in France .

Edorado , thanks man , the water pump is a resin piece depicting the one in Saint Marie Du Mont . I added the pump handle on the side . The real one has it's water supplied by a pipe from the building next to it .

Erwin , thanks man , slow down bro , I'll get to it lol . I was thinking about pidggies and poop on top of the fountain .
