Is there a conversion set for the U.S. Marines MARSOC Hummer shown in the picture below? I bought a Live-Resin figure for a different project, but didn't fit quite right and would like to build this hummer.

Thank you,
Jeff

My SOF HMMWV Walk Around has extensive files of this as well as several other GMV variants. It even shows the modified suspension unique to the MARSOC variant. No known kit, but a relatively easy scratch build.

I've contemplated the idea of building this Hmmwv myself. You can find everything you need on this site by the guy who makes/made the molds for Live Resin. (see page 2) But it's not that cheap...

Hi Jeff,
my friend does such a bumper, rear rails and a container for ammo boxes. See how it looks in my model.

MARSOC HMMWV would even look meaner with the new Next-Gen NXT360 HMMWV. Take a look at the ground clearance and tire size difference.

AM General plans to make an electric Hummer 2.

Hi Jeff,
the picture in your first post shows a “contaminated” configuration of a Special Forces GMV.
I have never seen a picture of a vehicle with a similar configuration.
Turret and front bumper are the ones used in Marsoc GMV’s that are based on the M1165 model.
All the rest, cargo walls, armoured doors, rear tray, are the ones used in special forces GMV’s that are based on the M1113 model.

I believe you have to decide which model you want to build.

I can confirm that Bravo18's Walk Around pictures are very detailed and useful.

I have built a GMV model (the one based on the M1113) and for that model I have 3D designed some parts that you can find in my Shapeways page
https://www.shapeways.com/shops/galactica-models?section=1%2F35+scale+GMV%2C+HMMWV&s=0

I’m currently working on an Army GMV (M1165 based) starting from the M1151 Academy model.
There is a lot to scratch build to make such a version.
I have already 3D designed some parts that I will receive from Shapeways in the next week.
I will open a specific thread to show my work in progress.
