Has anyone built the new boxing of Ryefield's M1A2 SEP v2 kit? On the first step, it shows 2 parts labled S58 installed on the mantlet, but I can only find one on the S sprue. Anyone know where the second one is hiding or did they just include one? Thanks.

Jason, the S58 are two of the same parts. They are part of the searchlight mount. The diagram is confusing making it look like S58 is a second different part like it is part of flash suppressor.

If you realized that already, then I got nothing.

Yeah. I realize they're the same but there seems to be only one on the S sprue. I scanned around for the second but can't seem to find it

Maybe C37 is the correct part. At least this parts looks the same and i didn't found the C37 mention in the instruction Manual.

RFM has built something of a reputation for making instructions that are either confusing at times or just downright wrong. I'm learning the best thing to do is go over the instructions several times before putting cutter to sprue. I've also found build reviews of RFM kits to be very helpful where the reviewer has found the problem area's and lists corrections.

Likewise, just did a check and pretty sure C37 are the parts you're looking for.
