So as I’m stocking my house with the essentials, food water, xtra thin cement, paint... Preparing to be locked in solitary for weeks to avoid coronavirus. (C’mon laugh) SO while i was trying to find MOPP gear and a tankers mask on the surplus market, I was thinking...

Anyone interested in a pandemic campaign? Any model any subject. Has to be un started, and must be completed during your quarantine. Something like that? I’ll leave the zombie apocalypse to someone else....

I had too, sorry. Life is going fast. Stay heallthy friends, watch your loved ones.

sounds interesting and thanks to a local fetish shop I am full stocked up on rubber "noddy" suits and gas masks, so count me in.

I agree with you mate, life can be depressing at the best of times so you have to get your humour when and where you can.

Actually you are quite correct. There isn't anything to worry about.

The interjection of politics into what should be hobby/modelling threads is becoming quite tiresome.

I agree. We get enough political crap without getting it frorm the modeling groups.

In regards to the Corona Virus it's not anything that most all of us probably have been exposed to before. Not exercising, eating poorly and being too fat kill people too, those are problems that I have to worry about a lot more than Corona virus. I think I will go exercise now.

Not holding my breath for my HobbyBoss kit. Got an email from the Chinese hobby shop saying there would be a delay due to the Chinese New Year. Then the Coronavirus hit...
Luckily I ordered a Tamiya kit from Japan this week, maybe I'll get it in a couple of weeks...
Take care,

It will be the wait to restock on styrene card stock, strip and rod, to make all the missing or incorrect bits for the HB kit, that will ensure you starve of oxygen.

(Just my take after building 3 HB kits... )

So would the build timeframe be 14 days? Does sound interesting.

Maybe make it 19 days or bonus points for anything with a 19, example MiG-19, mk19, M19 MGMC or bort/planes number?

Now you guys are getting the spirit! Thanks for everyone playing along. Frenchy, Ill trade you a case of low quality painters masks (we cant buy masks either) for a case of Corona?

Ok 19 rules will be applied, I like it. Extra points for any inclusion of “19” type, mod number, track number, bumper codes... (Automatic wins for C Co With N-19 bumper code, tanks named “coronavirus”)

As for quarantine length... they may tell us two weeks, but ask hte Diamond Princess how that worked.... How 40 days from start of quarantine for all of you who dont build straight out of the box? In honor of the true meaning of Quarantine.

Maybe extra points for use of CBRN / NBC / ABC gear or fetish leather? I bet I could paint a shiny leather body suit on Miss Becca... h/t live resin / stalemates
