Does anyone have good photos of the interior of an M109A2? I am working on the AFV Club kit and the Black Dog interior, the BD instructions are a bit fuzzy so am trying to confirm layout.

TIA

There are many n the net, but if you don't find what you need, I've taken quite a few. Contact me if you need them and I can send them later today.

So by the Gun chiefly area(right rear) the Black dog set has 2 ammo cans in place where I believe there should be an AN/VRC 46 radio set. But I am trying to find a few shot to confirm the placement. My shots are of different angles.

There were no permanently mounted AN/VRC 46 radio sets mounted in the M109A2.

I'm pretty sure that the first variant of the M109 to be equipped with radios was the Paladin, M109A6.

our A2/3s had radios mounted. used the 125 set. needed radios to pass gun data when in dispersed positions.

I was an A2/A3 platoon leader, each gun had a radio for voice while moving and digital firing data when in position. I just don’t have picture of that part of the turret interior.

Has anyone built the Black Dog interior? Trying to figure out how to attach the gunner sight assembly to the breech?
