Being frustrated with paint bottles ending up all over the place I was looking for a case. Vallejo do one, but it's way too expensive for what it is in my view. I found this on eBay, it's a case for aromatherapy oil bottles. The 17ml acrylic paint bottles fit well in the holes in the foam insert, the lid closes zips up and the paints are kept in place without falling out of the slots. The only modification necessary was just to cut the storage net inside the lid out with scissors, took about 20 seconds. Takes 60 paints (I need to buy more paints to fill it ) but there are other sizes of this type of case, and different colours of case etc.

Ooh - if the seller is a store (rather than a one-off) can you post a link? Looks perfect for my growing collection...

Cool, the perfect size to take along if you don't need the whole color range. Have to agree with the barkingdigger, info would be nice.

Love seeing info like this.
I'm looking for a vertical stand to hold my bottles.
Anyone have any ideas? I was even thinking of making a stand out of Legos.

Tom, this was the one I got :
5-15ml-60 Bottles Essential Oil Bag Aromatherapy Storage Holder Travel Box

It shows as out of stock, but there are loads being offered that are similar, the main thing is to check that it's at least 8cm deep. This one says it's 9cm,and the lid closes down perfectly. Also to be found on Amazon of course but more expensive though I did see one that takes 108 bottles.

Got mine through Amazon.
It is called Essential Oil Storage by Tress Wellness.
Cost $24.95 and holds 70 bottles. Sizes range from 30 to 105 bottles.
Works great!!

Dan, I made my own paint racks. My hobby room/office/hunting and fishing stash is a basement room so my foundation ends about 3 feet up from the floor then theres a ledge. I bought a small sheet of finished ply from Home Depot thats stocked for furniture use in 1/2 sheets vs a 4x8 sheet and its got a smooth finish on it. I then grabbed some assorted 8 ft lengths of premolded floor trim, 1x3 and then 1x2 flat etc. I measured up from my desk to the ledge and built 4 long shelves, 2 are 2 shelves from bigger paints and various bottles and 2 three shelf units. I used a bottle of Vallejo for my reference in spacing, cut lengths and used a finish nailer to assemble then painted white. Couple of screws hold them to the wall. Cant post pic's here but feel free to email me at thetattooedgringo@gmail and I'd be glad to send you some pic's to see if that provides you some ideas.
