I am starting Tamiya's Cromwell. I also bought the proper resin rear deck for Normandy and Friule track.

What are your tips to improve the accuracy of the kit?

Use the search bar to look for the build Darren Baker was working on. He had a stack of aftermarket he was using for it.

I saw that but life cought up with him and he is on hold so I thought I would move forward with my build. I can assemble the kit pretty much oob but I want to correct any issues the kit has that I am unaware of or things that can improve a good kit.

By Engine deck, do you mean just the rear upper hull? The front access hatch and opening needs replacing too depending on your deck.
