It is still going through testing and has not been accepted yet. We shall see if it does. Interesting idea. I'm not sure it is an improvement over current towed M119s though.

There is also the Brutus 155mm wheeled howitzer being tested.

Funny that the French equivalent is called CAESAR (CAmion Equipé d’un Système d’ARtillerie) :

The big advantage I can see is you can shoot and scoot due to quicker set up and tear down.

Looks like very limited recoil (efficient recoil dampers?)

Reminds me a lot of the M102 105mm.

your almost never gonna shoot six rounds and clear out. Of course they have GPS to aid them in the set up, but a good section will still be right there. I've seen 105 units dropped in and have all six guns shooting fire missions in less than 45 minutes. Two guns in ten or twelve minutes without breaking a sweat.
At one time I was on the gun that still holds the U.S. Military hip shoot record. Three minutes and forty nine seconds with a round in the air from rolling down a road. Now the down side is that gun shot an unregistered round at a target on the map. I can only hope nobody was down range! No FO wants an unregistered round coming his way!
