With the plethora of Tiger II kits out there I was wanting to find what might be the best kit to depict a tank from 503 in Berlin 45? Thanks

It looks like either the Dragon 6208 or 6254 would work for sSSPz. Abt.503 in Berlin. Also Tamiya's #164 or Meng TS-031 would be suitable. No Zimmerit, 9-tooth sprockets, Gg 26/800/300 tracks and you don't want final production versions. It looks like #311 of Untersturmführer Schäfer had the rain guard over the sight aperture, don't know about the others of this period. Last deliveries for the 503rd took place on Jan. 25th, '45. That's about all I've got without further research, unless I'm missing something here, which is always possible...Not too many photos available.

As for which one is the best...?
